Labradors and Shepherd Mix
I would like to let everyone know how lucky we felt to have Julia take care of our dogs for so many years. Julia was a neighbor who started walking our dogs while she was in her teens. We have three dogs, all of whom have definite personalities and needs, and she was able to adjust what she did to meet those needs.

Mastiff Mix and Rhodesian Ridgeback
We met Julia when our two puppies were 2 and 3 months old and had only been home together for a few days. The younger and smaller pup was a little scared of the older pup’s energetic playing style, and was initially a little snappy and vocal. Julia helped us socialize them with each other and they learned how to play together and share toys.

Cavalier King Charles
Julia has been a Godsend for our family since we adopted our puppy Jasper at 3 months old. She’s confident in her training and skills and always stays calm and focused when training my puppy, even when he’s being silly or stubborn… Hiring Julia was by far the BEST decision we made for our puppy and family!

Our rescue, Hazel was in need!
Hazel a cattle dog/German shepherd mix was in desperate need of love and training and so were we! Julia was that answer to our prayer to make Hazel’s life better and to be the perfect addition to our family. Julia’s positive way of training really spoke to Hazel and to us. After just a few weeks of class we are seeing that happen. We look forward to a long relationship with Julia.
Thank you Julia!
Feeding time was stressful and chaotic at first, but Julia helped us teach them to sit and wait to “eat”. Leash training was especially important to us because both dogs will eventually be 80-100 pounds and we want our young daughter to be able to walk them safely. Julia took us on lots of walks, one dog at a time and then both dogs. She is kind and patient with both dogs and people, knowledgeable, flexible and has been such a blessing to help our big beautiful girls be better behaved. Julia also helped with puppy sitting and dog walking when we had a family emergency and couldn’t give the dogs our own time and attention. Thank you for all your support training our whole family!
Julia has been a Godsend…
Julia has been a Godsend for our family since we adopted our puppy Jasper at 3 months old. She’s confident in her training and skills and always stays calm and focused when training my puppy, even when he’s being silly or stubborn. I am a new puppy owner and felt overwhelmed many times BUT Julia was there to reassure me that sticking to the training and being consistent will reap the benefits and she was right! After 9 months, I am still using the tools she taught me and will be hiring her to continue our service dog training until he is three years old. Hiring Julia was by far the BEST decision we made for our puppy and family!
Five Stars!
I would like to let everyone know how lucky we felt to have Julia take care of our dogs for so many years. Julia was a neighbor who started walking our dogs while she was in her teens. We have three dogs, all of whom have definite personalities and needs, and she was able to adjust what she did to meet those needs. Not only did she walk the dogs, but she was giving them some basic training while they were getting those walks they so enjoyed. They all got to the point that they anticipated her arrival before she even got to the door.
As she got older, we started having her house and dog sit when we went out of town. As I said, our dogs have distinct personalities – and very definite individual needs. Julia was able to handle all of their complexities . One dog has had various health issues and always has a revolving door of medicines. She was always meticulous in getting him what he needed. Our middle guy is not at all interested in eating – but will be food aggressive occasionally. He is also afraid of a great deal– which she was able to deal with without an issue.
Julia is reliable, responsible, and extremely personable. She obviously loves animals and has the capacity to care for them the way you want them cared for. We were really sorry to see her leave the area, but we know she will succeed in whatever she does.
